Tips for Moms When It Comes To Self-Care Routine

Morning

1.   Wake up 1 hour before the rest of the house: This is a perfect time for

  • Meditation
  • Breathing
  • Reading
  • Tea Making
  • Workouts

2.   Don't prioritize the mess - Let go of Home Perfection and take care of emotional needs first.

3.   Make a simple breakfast for the whole family - like doing lots of smoothies and warm sprouted grains with healthy fats.

4.   Prep the car and lunches the night before - it makes the morning much easier and less harmful.

 

Mid-Morning

1.   Get productive

  • Set time constraints
  • Start each workday with a short list of my to-do's in order of urgency.

2.   Have a Healthy Snack - in order not to crush later and turn into something that isn't nourishing.

3.   Skip the coffee, and opt for water or green juice instead

  • Try Matcha Green Tea or Yerba Mate instead of Coffee for a change.

4.   Take a 5-minute break to breathe

  • A few deep breaths can change your whole day. It's enrgizing, connecting, and a great form of stress release.

 

Afternoon

1.   Exercise during Lunch

  • Use 30 minutes of your lunch break for the gym. A quick HIIT workout can help your heart beating and even a brisk walk can also help.

2.   Plan the evening ahead of time

  • Plan out the meal for the night
  • Check in with your husband when he'll get home
  • Coomunicate with your husband anything with him that may have happend during the day.

 

Evening

1.   Cook together as a Family

  • Involve your son in cooking.
  • Set your son or daughter to do the dishes
  • Make a lot of soups, broths, grain-free baked goods, salads, steamed veggies, and wild fish.

2.   Practice self-care during bath time

  • Take time to give yourself a little face mask and do some skin brushing.

3.   Put the "Little One" to bed early

  • Get your son down by 8pm and spens an hour with your husband
  • Catch up on your favorite book
  • Do a little stretching, a short medication, or a journal entry

 

Overall

1.   Include your family in your Self-Care Routine.

2.   Make tea with your son and skin brush with him.

3.   Do yoga poses with him and  prepare healthy meals with him.

4.   Teach every family member to love himself in a loving way and letting them see you doing thsi is the best lesson.
